High Ropes The High Ropes Course is characterized by heart pounding, adrenaline rushing, "perceived high risk" activities. The activities may include any number of events that require participants to work through their fears and anxieties, to function in, what for most, is a challenging alien environment. They may be climbing, swinging, and or jumping in order to move forward to the next challenge. |

The power of the high course is in it's ability to create a situation where there exists a high perceived risk. The participant feels vulnerable but in reality there is little risk.. When this condition is achieved and the student discovers that he can evaluate and push through debilitating fears, face challenges, and achieve goals, relying on his good judgment, problem solving skills and the support of his group, he will become stronger and more effective. Facing the challenges that are offered on the course makes the participant stronger, more confident, and more willing to face other challenges that confront them in their everyday lives...
