Design & Construction Our History Adventures Unlimited has been building ropes courses since 1981, when we built our first course for a psych hospital in the southeast. It included a climbing tower, several high elements and a full low ropes course. Rumor has it that our owner and chief builder constructed his first zip wire at the young age of 9. Yes, it was a piece of discarded cable and a steel pipe served as the slide pulley. He is still around to brag about it. |

Safety and Service, First and Always We are vendor members of the Association of Challenge Course Technologies, (ACCT), which, among other things, means that we are peer reviewed by the association. We are only awarded vendor status after meeting significant requirements. We are re reviewed and re accredited each three years.
Each course is unique. When we design a course, we like spend a significant amount of time on the course site talking with our client in an attempt to understand exactly what their vision of their future course looks like to them. We explore with the client the population that will be utilizing the course, the course site, the program objectives, and their budget. After extensive communication, we propose a course that we believe will fit the site and program requirements. Once the course is built, we like to stay with the client until we have provided all the equipment, training, and documentation that is necessary for each program to have a successful start. We are never more than a phone call away. And we are available to perform ongoing maintenance and inspections on the course. |

The Courses Courses can be built on almost any site. They can be indoors or outdoors. They can be built in live trees, inside gym structures, or on utility poles. Courses can be High Elements, eliciting adrenaline highs requiring technical fall protection safety systems, or they can be Low Elements, where groups learn to function together to solve complex physical problems as they gain the skills to work more effectively and to transfer their new skills to their real life situations. We build many types of courses, including climbing walls, towers, portable courses, traditional high and low ropes course elements. |

Prices The cost of a challenge course can vary greatly depending on the type of elements you desire, the site preparation necessary, and the condition of structures that you wish to build on. A nice size low course built in trees consisting of 8 to 10 elements will cost around $4,000 to $6,000. Tree based high ropes courses cost $1,000 to $1,400 per element. |

| When utility poles are used for a course the cost is increased somewhat. However, the course will require much less maintenance and will generally last much longer. | Approximately 40' Climbing Wall
